D. O. Williams

In 1990 around 160 staff from the old DD Division joined the newly created CN Division to continue the same mandate, focusing their efforts on CERN's central computing services and networks, on the major libraries and applications packages for the physics community, and on computing support for CERN's engineering community.

In 1997 the CN Division was discontinued. The mandate continues with the Information Technology Division (IT).
